1. Purpose
This policy sets out how and when the work reaches the Client. It supplements the Terms of Service, of which it forms part.
All work is delivered by email. No physical goods are shipped and no delivery charge is applied.
2. Turnaround
| Service | Indicative rate | Turnaround |
|---|---|---|
| Document translation | From €0.12 / SEK 1.35 per word | 24 hours up to 1,000 words |
| Revision and proofreading | From €0.06 / SEK 0.68 per word | 24 hours up to 2,000 words |
| Terminology consistency | From €0.05 / SEK 0.56 per word | 48 hours |
| Quality assessment | From €0.05 / SEK 0.56 per word | 48 hours |
| Package | Scope | Price | Turnaround |
|---|---|---|---|
| Application pack | CV up to 2 pages | €100 / SEK 1,100 | 48 hours |
| Website pack | Up to 1,500 words: home, services, about, contact | From €200 / SEK 2,250 | 5 working days |
Packages are for one language pair and are quoted like any other work: a written quotation, then delivery, then the invoice. Beyond the word counts shown, the work is charged per word at the rates above. What each package excludes is stated in the quotation.
Per-word rates apply to the source text. Minimum invoice: €30 / SEK 340 per order. VAT not applicable, Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code.
Currencies. Every price is published in euros (EUR) and in Swedish kronor (SEK). The krona figures are fixed prices set in the catalogue, not conversions of the euro figures at the rate of the day; the two may therefore differ from the market rate. The Client chooses the currency when requesting a quotation or settling an invoice; that currency is the currency of the quotation, of the invoice, of the payment and of any refund, and it is not changed afterwards. The Supplier does not convert amounts.
The binding time for an order is the one stated in the accepted quotation, as required by Article L111-1 of the French Consumer Code where the Client is a consumer.
3. When the clock starts
Turnaround runs from receipt of the complete source text, together with any terminology, reference material or clarification needed to begin — not from acceptance of the quotation.
The Supplier confirms in writing the date on which the clock started, as soon as it has.
4. Suspension
Time is suspended by operation of law while a clarification requested from the Client remains outstanding after a written reminder, where the source text is changed after the work began, and in the event of force majeure. The Client is told in writing and the new date is confirmed.
5. Delivery and format
Work is delivered by email in the agreed format, with the original layout preserved wherever the source file allows it. Where changes are tracked, both a tracked and a clean version are supplied.
If nothing has arrived by the stated time, check your spam folder first and then write to contact@canajeva.fr. Delivery is reissued the same working day.
6. Acceptance
The Client has seven (7) days from delivery to report in writing any discrepancy against the agreed scope. Recognised discrepancies are corrected free of charge. After that period the delivery is treated as accepted.
7. Payment
Every order is invoiced after delivery, never before, and is payable within fourteen days. No deposit is requested at any stage, whatever the amount. In return, rights in the translation transfer only once the invoice is paid in full.
The invoice may be settled by SEPA bank transfer or through the payment link on this site, which calculates the amount from the published rate and the number of words invoiced. Both routes settle the same debt; neither is a purchase.
